Ahh Tyn church, it looked pretty creepy at night, but also looked very cool.  Prague’s architecture has a distinctive flair.  This church was where the Catholic reformer Jan Hus preached and spread his beliefs.  He fought for the right of the common man to take the communion wine as well as the bread.  He preached that all should read the Bible as a result he was burned at the stake as a heretic.  Unfortunately had he preached later during Martin Luther’s time he could have spread his message more prolifically due to the advent of the printing press and movable type.  And, well, the German states was a better venue for preaching heresy due to the decentralized government.  There’s also a statue nearby that portray’s Hus and the Hussites and commemorates his martyrdom.  The inside is very pretty as well.  Unfortunately they didn’t allow photography inside.  Very cool.  Prague’s a very cool city.
